Client: Spacestation

In 2024 Spacestation set it’s sights on creating a fingerboard brand. Not content with standard templated boards, a new brand was built from scratch, starting with custom wood decks and high quality bearings. Skatestation was created to foster the growing fingerboard community and provide a path into the hobby for younger audiences by creating excellent fingerboards without a high cost of entry. Spacestation also sought to integrate their existing brands, producing boards for their interior companies. I was charged with illustrating many of their initial boards and making promotional posters for the opening of the brick and mortar store. I also created a Shonduras branded beanie that could carry a fingerboard for boarders on the go! This product became a fan favorite and a unique highlight to the merch line. I was given a tremendous amount of creative freedom for all these projects. Each illustration was an absolute blast to create, and I hope to make even more! Packaging designed by Brenda Hawley and free stickers designed by Maris Price completed the combo to create a product that the fingerboard community is very excited for.
