Client: Spacestation Gaming

Spacestation Gaming is the esports wing of Shonduras’ Spacestation organization. They field pro teams in many games, foster fan communities, help run local esports events for college and high school leagues, and generally pull off some of the coolest esports content in anything they participate in. During my time at Spacestation, I worked extensively with SSG. I primarily worked on merchandise and apparel for their seasonal drops. Merchandise is very important to the success of esports orgs, so it was critical to feel different from the competition. SSG has always strived to be unique and responsive to fans desires, full of enthusiasm and a bit of irony. The goal for seasonal drops was never to rep the brands logos or colors- rather to remind fans that SSG is more interested in having fun and telling stories than selling the same yellow and black hoodies every year. Seasonal drops are usually limited quantity, available for a short time, and sell out quickly. These designs were my favorites.
